April 30, 2025Calvary Health Care is pleased to announce the appointment of Damien Bruce as National Chief Executive
Officer (NCEO), effective 1 September 2025, following the retirement of current NCEO, Martin Bowles.
Damien brings over two decades of leadership experience as a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company,
where he heads the Health, Social and Public Sector Practice for Asia. With a career spanning Europe, North
America and Asia, Damien is a respected leader in the health and aged care sectors, known for his expertise
in strategy and transformation.
Damien is passionate about improving access to quality health and aged care and has a long history
supporting not-for-profits that support these values, including serving on the Board of the Royal Flying
Doctor Service (Victoria) since 2013.
The Chair of Little Company of Mary Health Care, Jim Birch AM, welcomed the appointment.
