Annual Awards 2017

The 2017 CHA Awards were presented at the Conference Gala Dinner on Tuesday, 29 August 2017. The awards recognise the achievements of members towards improving services within the framework of a Catholic approach to care. Award winners in each category presented a brief overview of their achievements. Each winner was awarded a prize of $5000 towards their professional development. The awards were presented by Tony Wyatt the CEO of HPS.

Excellence in Pastoral Care – Pastoral Care Team – Mercy Hospital for Women/Werribee Mercy Hospital
Nurse of the Year – Sue Grasby – Cabrini Health
Emerging Leader – Zoe Islip – St John of God Healthcare

The 2014 Awards were presented at a formal dinner on Tuesday, August 26, during CHA's National Conference at Victoria Park, Brisbane. The awards were announced by CHA Board Chair, Rowena McNally and presented by Peter Bugden, the chair of the awards sponsor, Catholic Super.
