World-class retirement precinct reaches milestone
November 28, 2024With the end of year fast approaching, I am thrilled to share the official highlights video of this year’s CHA National Conference Rejoice, Reimagine with you.
The video captures the speakers and standout moments of this event, which once again brought together Australia’s largest not for profit health and aged care membership in Sydney over two days.
If you were there, it’s a chance for you to revisit this experience. If you missed it, here’s a glimpse of what made this event so special.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, spoke, exhibited and contributed to making Rejoice, Reimagine a success.
I am also really pleased to announce that we will soon send you a link to our CHA vodcast series – a collection of 10 recordings of the plenary sessions that helped make this a unique conference experience. Stay tuned!
CHA Advocacy
In other news, our aged care advocacy is paying enormous dividends in Canberra with this week’s passage of the Aged Care Act and the appointment of CHA Deputy Chair Steve Teulan to the Aged Care Transition Taskforce.
These once in a generation reforms are too important to fail, and Steve will be an important voice for the not-for-profit sector as we support the transition to the new legislation.
Our work on levelling the playing field with health insurers continues apace. Read more about our advocacy work for private hospitals in this edition of Health Matters.
