This year's Catholic Health Australia National Conference, 'The Difference We Make', was a great success, bringing together over 300 people from across Australia and overseas to tackle important questions facing Catholic health, aged and community care now and into the future. A comprehensive conference wrap up will appear in the CHA Spring edition of Health Matters.

We are very excited to announce that the 2017 Conference will be held from 28-30 August at the Grand Chancellor Hotel. The Conference opens with the Welcome Reception on the evening of 28 August, followed by 2 full days of conferencing on 29 & 30 August.

Though the CHA Conference, we aim to encourage dialogue between members, stimulate healthy debate and inspire meaningful reflection on contemporary issues surrounding Catholic health, aged and community care. In order to deliver to you –our members the best possible experience for 2017 in Hobart, we are asking for your feedback. Please take a few minutes to fill in the survey and share with us your thoughts.

The CHA 2015 Awards recognises the achievements of members towards improving services within the framework of a Catholic approach to care. Award winners in each category presented a brief overview of their achievements and explored with conference delegates details of the innovative projects and approaches to care for which they have been honoured.

The CHA National Conference was a great success with over four hundred and thirty delegates attending. Planning has commenced for 2015 National Conference to be held from 24-26 August at the QT Hotel Canberra.

A comprehensive conference wrap up will appear in the CHA Spring edition of Health Matters.

2013 National Conference

The 2013 Catholic Health Australia national conference was held from August 26-28 at the Pullman Melbourne Albert Park. With the theme "Meeting the Challenge", more than 400 delegates were on hand to hear from a great lineup of speakers. Papers and presentations can be accessed by clicking here. And don't forget to mark August 25-27 in your calendars for the 2014 CHA national conference in Brisbane.
